Judgey People & Their Judgey Ways

Judgey People & Their Judgey Ways

Greetings Earthlings! I hope that you all approve of my new blog design and title. With 2015 quicky coming to a close, I felt it was time for a change. I have to type super duper fast because I have an art discussion to get to in less than 30 minutes!! So, I may have to finish this post later this afternoon.
Now, when I woke up this morning I had utmost intention to go to my very last discussion at the fieldhouse. I even made the chilly trek over there at 7:30 a.m. I even sat their in the hallway outside our classroom for a full 10 minutes. But the longer I sat there, the more I thought about how pointless and judgemental our assingment for the morning way going to be. Why should I have to explain in great detail to a complete stranger my physical activity habits and workout life. I mean seriously, what would I stand to gain from this assingment other than having to justify how often I workout, why I workout, and my lack of barriers. I don't even discuss these kinds of things with my close friends and family. So why, would anyone, force someone to do this? Who knows. I just know that for me personally, there was no way I was going to force myself to sit through something like this.
Yes, I have a problem with Judgey people. They are everywhere and they don't have to utter a singel world to send your confidence levels plummeting. Whether it be some random person at the gym or someone I know from back home. It feels like people are always critically analyzing my diet, exercise regimine, and all of my choices in life. And whether you ask for it or not, these same people are always quick to let your know their thoughts on how you should be living your life. Well, newflash people, there is no "right" way for anyone to live their lives. Whether you approve or disapprove of how someone is making their way through life shouldn't affect their level of self-esteem or self-confidence. You don't have to agree with every decision I make or how I choose to pave my way through life. You'd be crazy if you did. However, I expect that unless I ask for your opinon up front, your refrain from judging how I choose to live my life. I mean, after all, it is called "my life" for a reason right?
This is the exact reason why when I go home for Christmas break I am avoiding all people at all costs. No I don't want to talk about how college is going. No, I don't have any clue what I want to do with my life after graduation. And, last but not least, No I don't want to talk about why I changed my major. Boom. Simple as that. We can talk politics, the weathr, or whathaveyou but No don't ask about college. It's called Winter Break for a reason. No school, no homework, no study, no college talk. Period. End of Discussion. K? Bye.
