First post of 2015...Yeah!!

I know...I know...how have I not taken the time to post since the new year rolled around?!?  I have been very busy enjoying my Christmas break and what not (what not referring to all the time I spent either glued to my nook, working out, or napping).  But there is nothing to fear...I am back peeps!!  Now if only this thing called "college" didn't have get in the way I would be posting every single day.  Sadly, that will not be the case. :( I know, I know, you are extremely disappointed, I am as well my friends.  Anyhow, there will be more kickass posts to follow in this upcoming first and hopefully not very busy week of second semester.  In the mean time, I might as well get you up to date in what is going on in my life, since you all must be dying to know what I have been up to over the last month or so.
On the first day of Christmas break my mother gave to me...a month long membership to Great Life Fitness!!! Seriously, the best present I could have ever asked for.  And quite necessary in order to run in non frigid temperatures. Another highlight of my Christmas break was taking some time to just do me.  This included finishing 5 or 6 Nicholas Sparks books, completing two 550 piece puzzles, and just being utterly lazy at times.  Hence, the lack of time for blogging.  Or, and I also competed in several rounds of Yahtzee with mediocre success against my mother.  In addition to my gym membership, I was also able to try some group workout classes.  I will truthfully admit, that I made excuses for quite some time as to why I did not want to try them.  Finally, with a little encouragement from Larry, I decided to give it a go.  I absolutely loved them and did two a day on a few occasions.  These lovely and grueling classes are the main reason why I have decided to get a three month membership this summer. :)
Another highlight of my time back in good old B.P. was spending time with the whole crew at weightlifting in the mornings.  It was great to see everyone that I hadn't seen in awhile and it almost felt like I was back in high school again (except for the fact that I had no finals to study for and had an excessively long break)!  I additionally enjoyed some shopping at under armour, two movies with my parents, and spending time with Rose and Jack.  I completely underestimated how much I would miss them when I started college.  And like every other normal person on the planet, I ate way too much food and spent far too many hours watching TV.  Honestly, TV is the biggest thing I miss about not being home. That and being able to read my nook for hours at a time.
One last update to touch on.  Fair warning: If you are MALE you will want to skip over this entire section, it will only serve to confuse you with your assumed lack of knowledge about the female body. It had been about 10 months since my last period, so I had an appointment with an OBGYN lady over break.   And of course, like any doctor, they ask you a million questions and automatically assume that you're pregnant.   Surprise...I am 100% not pregnant.  On to the option of taking birth control pills in the hope that at some point over the next few months my period with magically come back.  The many downsides to these stupid pills: 1.You have to take them at the same time every day. 2. They are tricking my body into thinking that it's pregnant, therefore morning sickness and stomach aches are expected. 3. This dumb, dumb pill will not only make you feel bloated, you will also gain around 5 pounds of water weight.  And to top it all off, there is no guarantee that this pill will even work, and if that's the case, its back to the doctor we go.  Needless to say, my fingers are crossed that everything will resume its normality.
And in case you were wondering, no there is nothing school related I should be doing right now.  I do not have class until 3:30...I know sounds like a pretty good deal right.  Except for the fact that I have a 2 and a half hour class right after from 5 to 7:30, good thing I had that cup of coffee this morning, huh!  Note to all coffee drinkers...no matter how good it sounds...do not have the cup of afternoon coffee!!! I found out the hard way last night and did not fall asleep until almost midnight...NEVER AGAIN!
Well, I feel as though I am starting to ramble...and that is never a good sign. I need to get a decent run in today as well...so this will be the end of my post.  If I have the time or energy after my late night class...I will let ya'll know how it went!
One week down, only Fifteen more to go (minus spring break of course)!!
