The Excitement is building...THANKSGIVING BREAK!

In just six short days I will be heading home for thanksgiving break.  BUT, before any of that can happen I must conquer a chemistry exam (yuck), register for spring classes (yay), conquer a math quiz at 7:30 a.m. (double yuck), and lastly give a group presentation in my Rhetoric class.  As you can imagine, this is going to be a very busy upcoming week.  My goal is to not having any homework over thanksgiving break, so that I can begin studying for finals.  My goal is also to get to a body fat % of less than 20, and figure out what the heck is wrong with my back.  So much to do, yet so little time.
So, you might be asking yourself, If I have so much stuff to do, why am I blogging?  Good question, I do not have a logical answer.  Other than, the famous, I will do it tomorrow. (Which by the way I will...probably)  Anyhow, back to the topic at hand.  Another thing I forgot to mention that I will be continually conquering is the treadmill (ughhh).  Alas the snow is upon us.  Running outside, is no longer an appealing option, for fear of falling on the ice/snow or getting dangerously cold.  Plus on the treadmill I do at least have Pandora to keep me motivated! :)
I just got the craziest idea.  I know, I know, some of you may cringe at the sound of this.  What if...I could accomplish a few new year's resolutions before 2015 even got here?  That would show life what is up.  After all the curve balls I have been thrown lately, its payback time!!!  Might as well start making them down. (And yes writing them down/typing them out will motivate me more to reach them; if not then somebody better get on me to get this stuff done)
In addition to the aforementioned decrease in body fat % I aspire to: 1. Run 8 miles...without stopping, 2.Pass all of my classes with a B- or higher, 3.Not stress out over ANYTHING, 4. Really focus on nutrition and eating as a way to fuel my body and prepare for future workouts/recover from past workouts, 5. Blog more often (because what I have to say and or think matters...to someone, somewhere), 6. Be selfish (in a good way),  7. Stay connected with people back home and try to build connections on campus (even though I may be a bit of an introvert).
Whew! That is a lot of stuff to get done in about a month and a half.  And if I made a list of things not to do...the list would be a lot longer!  Oh, shoot!  I should have added something on their like: Try new vegetables (yes I am weird, no, I have not been clinically tested).  Hot chocolate sounds really good right now. I bet you didn't know that hot chocolate is a vegetable did ya?  The cocoa that is in the mix comes form cocoa beans....which come from a tree/plant thing...which essentially means that when you are drinking hot chocolate....you are drinking vegetables! (You're Welcome for that significant piece of wisdom, pass it on if you wish)
Even as I type this post I am staring at my calendar that is hanging up in my ancient dorm room (Did I mention the calendar was free, gotta love free stuff!).  It is nearing my bed time...yet the keyboard has a tight hold on my finger tips.  I kind of enjoy this whole writing thing (as you can tell form the amount of posts I have done recently).  Who knows, maybe someday I will be a famous writer?  And all of you who are currently laughing at this idea, will be begging me for my autograph (Hey, it could happen!).
The real question is, should I even post this post to Facebook?  I mean is really worthy of anyone's time to read this junk? (If you are reading this, even if you just skimmed it to see if I have gone crazy, I am assuming it WAS worth your time).  Well, I am at a loss for words.  My brain is too busy thinking about all this 'studying' I need to do tomorrow, so that I can finally get to Thanksgiving break...if it ever gets here. Let's hope that I find at least a little motivation over break to study (even  if it is just studying through everyone's posts on facebook).  Here's to hopping we don't get any more of that white stuff (EVER AGAIN).
