And.........the weight-loss CONTINUES!

I was so happy this morning!! For once, I wasn't super starving when I woke up, but the longer I stayed up, the hungrier I got. The scale, may finally be on my side. I stepped on and am down to 135.4lbs and 21% body fat! I am quite pleased, the body fat needs to go down at least another 2% until I'll feel really accomplished. Slowly, but surely I am making progress. It just takes time, healthy eating, exercise, and lots of water. I wonder if the whole low-carb thing is the reasoning behind this, or if it's just my reduction in sodium? I would really like to know, because I know on these low-carb days I have a tendency to feel more tired and rundown. Low-carb days are also a lot lower in calories than high-carb days, because almost EVERYTHING has carbs in it! :( Anyhow, I am just really super happy. I don't know what I should be doing to get the body fat number to go down lower. I might Google something or if I have to I will e-mail Yilek. I don't want to, but I don't know if I'll have a choice. Knowing him he would probably just tell me to be patient, and keep doing what I'm doing.
Gosh, I wonder how low I'll be able to go? I entered in a bunch of stuff on calorie king and it said my healthy weight range is 118-159. So...I'm assuming this means I will continue to lose weight? I have lost 1.6 pounds in the last 2 days, so something is obviously working. I just kind of nee the body fat percentage to go down. I don't want to be a "fat skinny girl." I'm thinking upping my protein or just doing more weight training might help, but I honestly don't know. I really don't have any patience when it comes to this kind of stuff. I want instant results. I have lost a total of 5 pounds in my first month of college. And I even went out to eat twice since I've been here. I'm hoping that since I have changed my eating habits so dramatically, I'll be able to lose even more during the second month. My original goal was to be at my goal weight by thanksgiving. But, then I was like, why not shoot for by Halloween?! SO, I guess that is what I am working towards right now. I don't know if I'll hit 125 by October 31st or not. It's just a waiting game.
There are several things that I can do between now and then to make sure I hit my goal. 1. up intensity during strength training. 2. only take one day off per week from running. 3. on my rest days, still make the attempt to walk at least 3 miles on the treadmill at an incline. 4. continue with my healthy eating and carb cycling. 5. control sodium intake, and make sure I have enough fat in my diet (I really struggle with that some days!) 6. don't feel like I have to over-indulge on a cheat day. 7. get plenty of sleep and water each day. Wow! That sure is a lot of stuff. The main on is the whole cheat day thing. I don't want to gain weight on a cheat day, I'd rather just stay the same. On the flip side, getting rid of cheat days altogether would probably not be a smart idea. I just have to make sure that on cheat days I still control my calories, carbs, and sodium. Also, I need to make sure I only weigh in every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I have weighed in for 3 days in a row now, and I know that isn't healthy. I just had to make sure that what I was doing was working. The scale is my friend now, but I know that can change at any time.
I'm going to look up some ways on how to increase the loss of body fat, I will report back on my findings sometime this week. Thank you God and everyone up above for helping to guide me on this journey. I greatly appreciate it! BYE. :)
